I’ll do that thanks. One problem I’m having lately is moving folders to my external drive. I placed a bunch of folders in the trial folder and can’t seem to move them…

Glad to hear someone else liked it. It’s a big improvement from 2 and with the new brushes I agree it’ll do 95% of everything I’ll be needing.

I like the Merrell shoes but they can get stinky and don’t dry as fast as some.

    Croc’s are another favorite.

You ask the guy rowing it if he’s a guide? If he says yea,,,it’s a guide boat.

Nice boat but it’s a guide boat. If I were going to buy a drifter for personal use I’d get one that was more cosmetically appealing. If I were getting one to guide from that one would be high on the list.

Well I haven’t had much time to shoot with the new camera but I did get out a few just playing around. They are 640×640 and I haven’t taken the time to figure out how to get aperture to size them to 800×800. The 400mm L isn’t as good in low light as the Sony G due to no IS. The AF on the other hand is lightning fast and for that reason I’ve decided to keep the prime over the IS 100-400 version.

Zach if it’s important enough to you you’ll find a way to get it. Make no mistake boats are a bad investment choice if you look at it purely from a family financial perspective. If you look at as making the most of your short time on this planet they are IMO priceless.

What are you thinking about buying?

Let me get this straight, you need encouragement to get a free 5D? Go for it and if you don’t like it I’ll take it off your hands.

He must be shooting at a Trout hatchery of some sort. None the less he has done an amazing job and set the bar waaay out of reach for most folks.

in reply to: PC vs. MAC #70131

I went with a 21.5″ iMac last week for my desktop. I use PC at work and my laptop is PC. For photos, video, music, Net surfing, I went with a mac. Do what I did and buy an itouch first. If the itouch doesn’t make you want a Mac then buy a PC..

BTW, The 27″ looks great in the store and it really makes the 21.5 look small. What’s cool is when you get home and discover how big that 21.5 is on your desk. Looking back I don’t see where a 27 is even needed. As little Elvis would say, Man,,, that thing’s HUGE! The imac also has an LED screen that is just amazing to look at.

I’ve owned alot of boats but I settled on this one as THE boat to cover it all. It’ll run in 3″ and has been all over the mid south and even the lower Keys.

Thank you Neal I will definantly consider that. So far the learning curve hasn’t been all that bad thanks in part to Google.

I still haven’t found a web development program. I’m not really interested in Dreamweaver, what do you all use?

in reply to: I’m jumping ship on Sony. #70254

The price isn’t bad either. I wasn’t suggesting one was better just that the 400mm seems to suit what I’m looking for better.
