Jaun, the 5D is a great camera with good color and great high ISO performance.
The resolution is more than enough for most people and even in auto everything it will give you great pictures.If the price is that good, think of it as a really big pocket camera and go for it.. 😉

Let me get this straight, you need encouragement to get a free 5D? Go for it and if you don’t like it I’ll take it off your hands.
Juan, after viewing your recent RS2 tying video in HD I would say that you are more than ready for a DSLR!!!
