    Nice project, you can never have enough midges…unless you are fishing dries!

    You have convinced me of the merit of the midge however…I need to start replacing some of my old faithful zebra midges.  Maybe I’ll get the vise out today…its cold/snowy/rainy.  

    Send me some of that rib material and I’ll let you know my impressions.

    I have no problem with fishing private water, and don’t think that the fish caught from those water are any less dignified then those on public.

    I’ve had an L.L. Bean Paclite Gore-tex for about a year now, and have been very happy with it.
