I ended up getting a Zykkor adapter with optical glass, and have just started to play around with it.  It seems well made, and my FD mount lens fit well on my EOS.

Here are a couple of photos with an 35-105mm FD lens at f/3.5.  Although I’ll spend most of my time shooting with my regular EF-S lens, it is fun playing around these lenses.  It will be fun using exploring some of my other FD lenses in the future.

The quality of these photos can be much improved I’m sure…as I’ve got a lot to learn.

I’m looking forward to the podcast with Chris Schrantz.  He is one of the nicest guys in the flyfishing industry.  He was working at St. Peter’s flyshop when I moved out here, and was a great source of information.  He was truly someone that didn’t care that you were not buying a $600 rod at that moment…he would spend time answering questions and giving great information about the flyfishing in the region.

Glad to see that you are giving him some spotlight.
