MemberMet up with my good friends Joel and Cameron (who also had Mike Boward from the board with him) in MT for the purpose of rowing Joel’s BBW diftboat. I know I dont have nearly enough space here to post all of my pics, but if you’d like to see them all you can –> HERE <-- . A certain buddy of mine borrowed the 50d body to take to Belize… So, I ended up shooting a ton more with the IR body. Hope you guys enjoy the pics!
D1 – I arrived @ Rock Creek Cattle Company … Joel was generous enough to let me, along with “Cam and the boys”, stay @ his cabin. Man, talk about a gorgeous setting and a wonderful cabin! Thanks Joel!

franks and butter by cor23, on FlickrD2 – It was time to get a little fishing in and some time on the sticks, for me. (DAMN that is one sexy boat!) Joel jumped in and netted a few fish and Ron Snow (from the board) rowed the second boat! They were still eating hoppers on Oct 15th. 😉

Cam Ron and Mike by cor23, on FlickrD3 – Joel and I cruised a little east to fish with Doug McKnight (ties for Umpqua and formerly helped to manage the Yellowstone Anger shop in Livingston). If you are ever looking for a guide to do some streamer fishing with .. This is your man! Doug gets it done!

doug and joel by cor23, on FlickrD4 – I did a 1/2 day with my buddy CG Sipe from guide school. Who was wrapping up his season with WorldCast. He even grabbed the camera and got a pic of my fod. 🙂

Joel ThompsonMemberAwesome stuff right there Corey! I may be hitting you up for one of those photos to use as the company Christmas card this year! Always a good time hooking up with the members of this board. I have never been disappointed with the folks I have met here!
Corey is pretty darn good on the sticks too people. I actually got to fish out of my own boat which was a real treat!

MemberGood times for sure. Seems like that week went by in just the blink of an eye.
Mike, thanks for the kind words. I had a great time hanging out with you guys. Where is that picture of your pretty Bow? That one had some nice color. Also, thanks for the tips on selective hearing as it should be applied within the bounds of matrimony. I have been doing it all wrong. I’m not surprised though, seems like I always take the hard way. Oh, and long live the dry fly.
Cameron-Great to finally meet and spend some on the river time with the face of http://www.thefiberglassmanifesto.blogspot.com/ and one of those responsible for breathing life into http://www.fishykid.org/ I know a lot of people really appreciate what you guys are doing over there.
Cory-I don’t know if that place even has a back door. I guess it would just about have to so that the assorted trout bums and loitering guides can flea the bill collectors that use the front door.
Dave-How are you dealing with the withdrawals of your hopper addiction? Hang in there buddy. I know how you feel. The shakes, depression, thoughts of suicide can be tough at first, but then, after a few weeks, it becomes downright unbearable.
Did anybody get a shot of Joel and his “Shrimp in Wine Sauce” that was served up with so much flair under the watchful eyes of the Two Headed Calf of Wolf Creek? Some meals are destined to never be forgotten, or ordered again!
