I got a last minute call from a friend that guides on Maine’s Penobscot River about a free day last week, and decided to play hooky and drive up there for a quick overnighter.

Wow, love the pictures!  I grew up south of that area in Maine, near Bangor.  If you’re every in the Old Town/Costigan area check out the smallmouth fishing; it’s out of this world!
