Just picked up a Brodin net with the “Ghost” netting.  Looking forward to trying it out.  I think that I attached a photo of it.

Is the net like rubbery to keep from hurting the fishes slime coating? Where did you find it?

PR I have a smaller teardrop Brodin net but its deep and the fish line etc always got all tangled up and I quit using it. I think I will have to get one like yours. I found 1 last night for $89.95.
    Thanks,

Brodin nets are awesome! The Brodins lived in Missoula MT. for quite a while and when I worked for UPS I use to do their daily pick-up and got to know them a little bit. Great people and very generous. I have about twelve of their nets that they just gave to me for being their UPS guy. My wife actually taught them spanish so they could communicate better with their employees at their shop in Costa Rica. I am really happy to see that they have the rubber nets now! Way better for the fish and the hooks never seem to get caught up in the stuff.

I went fishing this weekend, and snapped a photo of the Brodin in the water.

Wow that’s a great design! Brodin makes some fine nets for sure. I am in the market for a boat net so I’ll see what they have.
