MemberI hang mine with a big hanger that has to clamps, I clamp them at the top where the suspenders are sewn.
I hang them on the back porch to dry and bring them into the man cave and hang them on the wall until the next trip.

Memberyes, it’s made just down the road, as is the trailer and lids used in dry boxes, a pure Baxter County boat.

Mike,
I was thinking the same thing.
I have a Gheenoe, minutes to days away from pulling the trigger on an L48, already have the jet in storage

Pay the turd no attention, you can’t please everyone, even my wife and kids don’t like me 100% of the time

MemberI love Smiths, used them for years, couple years ago when I was due new glasses, their lenses factory (China I think) had burnt down, so I went with Guidelines.
My only complaint with Smith is great lenses but their frame selection sucks, (side coverage) nicely told that to them multiple times, but so far they don’t listen and I shop else where.
Looked at Costas many times but $759 for progressive Rx is steep. They may be good but are they that good ??? When you can get Smith for $300-ish and Guideline for $225-ish
I’m actually looking at Costa now, got a new prescription 01/03/13 and thinking of contacts (never been fitted) could get regular Costas. So many ways to look at this.
I’ve listened to the podcast 3 times so far, will listen again, very informative.

MemberI am looking forward to hearing this one tomorrow at work. Of all freshwater fish, I would have to say that Musky is the fish I most want to go after. After hearing that we have them in Tennessee, I am stoked to see this podcast get posted.
Peter,
I’m about an hour south of these fresh water legless crocks, been after them quite a few time over the last 14 months, saw one caught, had a few follows. There are a few there but you better come camp out for a long spell to guarantee a tug on your line.
I’ve got friends that are crazy over them (my Monday fishing bud) others give up even after catching a few, their reason is they like to feel a tug more often for hours and MONEY invested.
Everyone says its the mystique, explosive take and not the fight that brings them back.
I’ll let you know after my first hook up

MemberQuail hunted when we had enough birds to actually hunt.
Chased Ruffed Grouse in Virginia with my best bud.
Woodcock hunted for quite a few years (until my young thickets grew up)
I had a grandson of Elhew Snakefoot for 12 years, one brilliant dog, smarter than most people 😀
Did my Woodcock hunting with a Llewellyn Setter.
Now have a Boykin, our 3rd one, plan on having one until I go six foot under.

MemberThanks Joel,
I’ve been blessed to visit the 2nd meadow on 4 different trips to Yellowstone, looking forward to trip #5 next year.
There are not many weeks go by that I don’t tell my fishing bud, wish we were in the 2nd meadow

MemberJay,
Welcome to Tennessee.
I live 90 ish miles southeast of Nashville on the Elk River, tailwater of Tims Ford Lake.
I work weekends, lots of people never see me, I fish when most work 😀 I do make it Nashville way to often. Sister in law and two fly shops get most of my time.
FlySouth (http://flysouth.net/) owned by Jim Mauries, a transplanted Colorado boy since the mid 80’s. Great shop, if they don’t have it you probably don’t need it.
Cumberland Transit, total outdoor shop, hiking/biking/kayak, fly fishing. (http://www.cumberlandtransit.com/) Grumpy & Leo will take care of you.
Love to meet up with you and talk, take you fishing. Can’t this coming week, be busy finishing up tying and packing for 8 days on the White River in Arkansas, FFF club goes twice a year, excited more than normal that my 11 year old gets to go, putting him on Dry Run Creek until either he tires of catching large fish or we run out of boat nets 😉
Plus I need to pick your brain, been to Colorado many times, but never fished there, I want that to change in 2013.
Two other avenues to meet like minded people

MemberAngling is way off in my future, I’ve had precious few days off since April 1st, today was #5 of 20 until I have a “scheduled” day off.
Anyway, I took off early yesterday to attend a LUPUS fund raiser for my wife and daughter in law.
Got to spend some time with my 1st grand child, born April 28th.
Pa put him to sleep, was my first time wearing one of my new hats.
