Just wondering if it makes any real difference if I store my gortex waders hung by the straps or folded like they came out of the box. I would prefer to have them folded or rolled and in my wader bag ready to go if that is not harmful. The wife “lets”me have a nice space in the basement as a gear room so I have the space but i’am somewhat concerned about her cat taking a liking to them if the door gets left open.

I hang mine with a big hanger that has to clamps, I clamp them at the top where the suspenders are sewn.

I hang them on the back porch to dry and bring them into the man cave and hang them on the wall until the next trip.

So, If they are put away dry keeping them folded and in the bottom of the wader bag doesn’t hurt them any? I like being partially packed when I get a last minute chance to head out, and need to pack for 4or 5 of us in a hurry.

Waders should never be stored. They should be used! 🙂

It shouldn’t matter provided they’re dry when you roll them up.
