    Angling is way off in my future, I’ve had precious few days off since April 1st, today was #5 of 20 until I have a “scheduled” day off.

    Anyway, I took off early yesterday to attend a LUPUS fund raiser for my wife and daughter in law.

    Got to spend some time with my 1st grand child, born April 28th.

    Pa put him to sleep, was my first time wearing one of my new hats.

    First, I’m jealous because I didn’t have my hat when I was on the Henry’s Fork in August. And second, I’m even more jealous because that fish is twice the size of anything I landed on The Ranch.

    Salmon River.  Fishing the lower section with 8wts, floating line and no weight.  The fresh fish crush bright streamers so hard some of the takes almost pull the rod out of your hand.  That fish TAPED out at 40 and like 1/4 inches.  It was huge.

    Must fish there………

    Thanks, John. It is a great shot – taken by Bart Larmouth who is manager of the Delaware River Club in Hancock, NY. We were waiting on a hatch that never happened.
