Thanks guys, it is going in regardless, i am just hoping it falls under the “replace” and not “repair” part of the warranty. I’ve had the rod 3 years i think, and almost immediately it developed a sqeak in the grip, and in the last year it has come completely loose. I have tolerated it long enough, and now its time to get it fixed.
I was actually thinking about a car door, Carter. I’m not sure i could bring myself to do that though, kinda goes against how i was raised. I watched one time as an Orvis guide, who isn’t a guide anymore, broke a (already broken) rod in 4 pieces over his knee in front of the shop he worked at. “Just want to make sure they replace this thing and don’t try to fix it” he said.
I read the same thing in regards to getting a T3 for a TLS, i think it was on this site.
Hey Zach, i can’t offer much advice on moving domains and that kind of stuff as i’ve never had to do it… but i can say that my host is 1and1.com and i have had great luck with them over the last 3 years. I think my email has only gone down once, and i’m not sure if my web site ever has. I pay 9.99 a month, for gobs of space and email accounts, more than i will ever need… not sure if it will meet the needs of this site though. Anyways, check them out.

I like the industrial, almost gritty feel of the images, not something i am used to seeing in the fly fishing genre.
I did get a couple cell phones covered, State Farm had insurance for about $25 a year or so with no deductible, compared to the $7 a month that nextel and alltel charge plus deductible.
I’ve had my personal articles policy cover a couple things, including a lens and a couple of cell phones, and there has been no major increase in the premiums. I also have all the rest of my insurance with the company too, which i am sure helps.
Bummer about the spill though, i am waiting for it to happen to me.

I use State Farm for my camera gear as well as a few other things. My brother put a few of his rifles on his policy, a laptop, you can do pretty much whatever you want. It is on a Personal Article Policy, the same type of policy you would put jewelry or something on. I have only had to use it so far on one lens, but its a no deductible, no questions asked type policy. Its great. For several thouasand in gear, it costs abot 100 bucks a year.
I’m not sure that i have a specific answer for you, but i can tell you what i have experienced with large format prints.
I just played with the canon sd 750 last night at a x-mas party, i really liked it. Its super small, thin, and has a huge screen.
