Hate to say it.. but Nikon is on crack here… wayyyy to much for that body/feature set.. I think they might be getting a little caught up in marketing and releasing “competing” bodies… and forgetting about the nature of the beast…

    Josh,

If you’ve got your yak with you, you’ve got lots of both fresh and saltwater opportunities within easy reach.

Checkout: http://americanriverfishing.com/ and the different state sites for ideas.  Additionally, the Mobile area has a pretty active Kayak fishing group but I couldn’t find their URL at hand.  I do know its listed somewhere on the Alabama River fishing site.  Good Luck.

I put floatant on a nymph and try to get it to ride in the film or right beneath it and strip it fairly quickly…

Landcruiser & boat stay home except for short trips, I do get some aweful funny looks when I pull up in my commuter vehicle (120 miles + a day).. But it gets a whopping 26-29mpg which so far for a gas powered V-8 is the best ive found, and is über comfortable and drives like a dream, the looks I get when we step out wearing waders or as I shag down gravel roads, well priceless.

slapping down 25 smakers to fill up the tank on the jon boat is a shocker.

Tahoes, yukons, hummers, they can’t move em & here locally the dealers will not accept them as trade INS.

It could be the camera, or it could be the chip in the lens as well…

    Step 1.

Line.. meaning terminal tackle.. so why not cover leaders, tippet, bite tippets etc…

I rarely buy “the newest line” I generally buy last years model… for about 1/2 to 1/3rd the price… does line technology really follow some sort of moore’s law?

Those sink rates look a little off to me… perhaps just for the bead.. but throw in the body of the fly, etc.. and the rate has to be slower than that…

This may be a really dumb question, but I don’t have a clue what is on the end of that lens?
