Great post Lee! How many dirty jokes did you buy for a dollar? That is a pretty creative way to make a buck that is for sure.

Dude had a couple of awesome Palin jokes…outstanding   ;D

You will have to PM those to me if you can remember them Lee. I will even pay you a buck!

Mike why don’t you ice fish it? Not nearly as fun but it would be interesting to see what you hooked up.

Allan you are a great asset to this site. I think the vast majority of us here are dog owners and you have helped a lot of us (myself included) get through some tough times with our pets. Your explanation here was great!

I have received this video from quite a few friends now. Pretty amazing! Can anyone tell what kind of fish it is?

Eric that is horrible. I can’t imagine the pain you are going through watching your best buddy die right in front of you. I can’t think very much about a vet that would still except money after something like that! Though it may not have been their fault I still think it is wrong to take the money.

I wish I had words that could make you feel better Eric. Hang in there.

That looks like an awesome trip Drifter! I wish I was able to take time off in the summer time as I would go on that trip in a heart beat! The portage was the only thing that looked like it would be no so much fun to me. I hope you do it as I would love to see the photos!

Man! There is some good stuff there! It was a tough one but my vote is in!

Right on Mr. Cline! The game against App. State was one of the best football games I have ever seen! Just what one would expect of two college football power houses.

Now we just have to take out Villanova and we will have the National Championship trophy back in Missoula!

    GO GRIZ!!!!

I have one as well and like it. I don’t get to do a lot of casting in the winter so it helps keep the muscles fresh for when spring hits. With the bright yellow rope for line it is a very good visual tool to help you correct things you are doing wrong.

Keith I have a Guru on a Winston BIIX 4wt rod and really like it. It is really light weight and the drag on it is super smooth and easy to adjust. It is one of two Lamson reels that I own. I also have a lightspeed that I use on my 8wt for steelhead fishing.

The University of Montana in Missoula has a course, non credit.

I second the University of Montana Zach. They are teamed up with the Kingfisher Fly Shop to help teach the class. Jim and Matt (the owners of the shop) do a great job too. Here is the link from their website that is also linked to the U.

I have talked to several of my Reps about this idea and they all agree it would be nice but I still have not seen it. I would like to have a water proof, breathable glove that I can leave on the WHOLE time I am fly fishing in cold weather. It needs to be light enough I can still “feel” with it on and maybe have a neoprene type cuff on it so you get your hand in and out of the water while releasing the fish with out water getting inside.

I HATE having cold hands. I can’t tie knots and it takes all the fun out of the day for me so I would LOVE to see something like this come to frutition!

Great post guys! Neal, it amazes me how far you have come with your photography since you first joined this board. Great stuff!

Bob, I love the way you captured Neal getting after that burger! Primal!

Looked like a very fun outting!

That is pretty funny stuff. Not sure what the approach would be for a fly fisherman getting his stuff broken but I guess figuring it out would be part of the fun!

Great report Zac. That said you shouldn’t make fun of people who live under rocks!

Great report and photos John! I am sorry we missed hooking up during your visit. September just didn’t allow me much free time. When you come back I will make sure we don’t miss meeting each other in person!
