MemberI like to fish light. I miss products like the JW Outfitters Bonefish pack – enough room for a large C&F box, tippet, pliers and hook hone. Something built to withstand years of use, without being too big and bulky.
Best Regards,
Beechy

Joel ThompsonMemberI have talked to several of my Reps about this idea and they all agree it would be nice but I still have not seen it. I would like to have a water proof, breathable glove that I can leave on the WHOLE time I am fly fishing in cold weather. It needs to be light enough I can still “feel” with it on and maybe have a neoprene type cuff on it so you get your hand in and out of the water while releasing the fish with out water getting inside.
I HATE having cold hands. I can’t tie knots and it takes all the fun out of the day for me so I would LOVE to see something like this come to frutition!

MemberI fish alot on small brookie type streams in the spring time in the northeast. Most of the time your hiking in a way’s before you can start fishing or the air temps are too warm for me to want to wear or carry heavy wading gear. I would like to see a pair of light weight low top or high top rubber bottomed wading shoes with a gore-tex gaitor attached that could exstend up to your knees and cinch up tight with cord lock and elastic strapping.

MemberFor the bass and panfish anglers, I would love to see popper hooks that are black or green and I would also like to see no-barb hooks as standard on poppers.

MemberJoel- I’m very much with you on the glove concept. I would add some type of gripper material to the palm side of the fingers and palm surface and they should be form fitting and be offered as regular or gauntlet style . I spend a stupid amount of time with my hands in rivers/creeks/lakes etc during bug hunting activities lifting rocks/timber or just sorting through samplers and have tried

Steve K.MemberA synthetic long sleeve fishing shirt….like the ones made by Columbia and Ex-Officio……IN CAMO PATTERN! For those of us that chase brookies. They would sell a ton of ’em in my opinion. They could be used during archery and dove season in the Deep South as well. The possibilities are endless……..I’d call it Brookie-flage.

Memberon the subject of gloves and iced guides, what about a glove with a small ice scraper built onto it so you could run your hand up and down the guides and break off the ice. no more teeth, hemostats, frozen fingers doing the work.
something like this:

but smaller and attached to a part of the glove where it won’t get in the way (my friend has one on his left ski glove to scrape ice off his ski mask)
or one of these to go around finger but strong enough to break ice
ski goggle wipe

Steve, just FYI, patagonia currently makes a camo shirt like you are describing.
