Bob RigginsMemberSome other things I miss –
Bluegills,
Crappie,
Keg mouths,
Rednecks,
pickups with gun racks,
Biscuits & gravy,
Grits,
69 Chevys and chicks with BIG hair… 😛 ;DAre you sure that wasn’t Champaign Mississippi. ::)
Given the current state of our polical system, I may be joining you soon.
Bob RigginsMemberI mentioned this early in the tread, but the price of gas has had a stong positive effect on my fishing, thanks to a kayak and close proximity of fishing water.
Bob RigginsMemberQuote:http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=3050I’m sure you could figure out how to organize the inside in a way that work. Pretty cheap, almost indestructible and waterproof… that’s the best option I can think of.
Actually there is another item on that website that looks promising:

Bob RigginsMemberI don’t think this is what you are looking for, but Plano has a series of waterproof stowaway fly boxes. I use one of them on my kayak and it works good. They may be a little small for what you are looking for.
Bob RigginsMemberI use Seaguar Fluorocarbon for my tippets, however, this is for saltwater applications.
Bob RigginsMemberI remember you as a punk kid from Arkansas that knew it all ;).
Bob RigginsMemberCongratulations gentlemen.
Bob RigginsMemberIt was caught on a deer hair tied mouse pattern, with a weed guard of course.
Bob RigginsMemberDue to health conditions, I was not able to join this one, and now I’m glad I didn’t.
Bob RigginsMemberI have tried to get my wife into fly fishing, but she will have none of it.
Bob RigginsMemberMoved to main forum.
Bob RigginsMemberI’m still not able to get out on the water much. So I decided to try my luck at the elusive Florida Grass Trout. My neighborhood is a notorious spawning ground, so I went out sight casting to one of the big females. I sighted one laying up in the shadows under one of my hibiscus bushes. One cast, right on the nose and “FISH ON”. The battle was epic. Long runs across the neighbors yard, up the sidewalk, across the driveway, but I was finally able to bring it to chair. I definately think this is a record, but before I could get the tape on it, it jumped out of my hands and took off down the street.
Bob RigginsMemberI like the Roosterfish OK.
Bob RigginsMemberI’m with you Mike.
Bob RigginsMemberI assume the only two that are flaking are the two you bent and straightened out, so it would be hard to say is was a manufacturing defect.
Bob RigginsMemberGenerally yes, it is a sight fishing heaven.
Bob RigginsMemberI think it is a marketing ploy aimed at getting more guys on the water in search of the “Hardy Girl”.
Bob RigginsMemberI hate to further hijack the thread, but we are talking about two totally different situations.
Bob RigginsMemberThat is an unussual design by current standards.
Bob RigginsMemberIf you have the reel seat off, you have already accomplished the hardest part.
