[align=center:v6cjp6lc]back to the drawing board.[/align:v6cjp6lc]Laramie, Wyoming has been held hostage by old man winter the past two days about 7-8 inches of snow in town. All the snow was enough for me to get a lil crazy and be the Itinerant angler. I had http://www.itinerantangler.com written into the snow bank, but the snow and wind was blowing enough to cover it up by the time we got to taken pictures.

Oh, but I have some ideas…one of them involves a poodle, a circus monkey and shamu the killer whale! Uh, was that out loud?
I am still waiting on this photo from Moosedog – sorry, my imagination only goes so far… Do you need to borrow my circus monkey? Poodle? But Shamu is a little harder to catch. How do you tie a seal pattern?

I’m still not able to get out on the water much. So I decided to try my luck at the elusive Florida Grass Trout. My neighborhood is a notorious spawning ground, so I went out sight casting to one of the big females. I sighted one laying up in the shadows under one of my hibiscus bushes. One cast, right on the nose and “FISH ON”. The battle was epic. Long runs across the neighbors yard, up the sidewalk, across the driveway, but I was finally able to bring it to chair. I definately think this is a record, but before I could get the tape on it, it jumped out of my hands and took off down the street.
