MemberZach,
You have created here something that is beneficial to many people on many differing planes. You should be proud for what you have accomplished! Thank you, and all of the other awesome people here, for providing a positive learning environment and a great place to scratch the itch while stuck in the office.
DustyMaybe we should start considering a time and place for an IA Southern Conclave!

John BennettMemberWell I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
Your sites one of, if not the only, that caters to both anglers and photographers. and I’ve purused 100s if not 1,000s of sites looking for the unique blend. I haven’t even found a similiar combination for hunting or backbacking.Couple that with good membership ( real names is a huge plus) sprinkled from across the globe for some varying perspectives, species, techniques, locations, etc and it’s a winning combination. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you get alot of editors and ADs lurking here 🙂
While the “fly fishing” site I particpate on thats home based (

MemberI love the site and it reflects Zach’s hard work and devotion to fly fishing. Managing something like this takes a considerable amount of time and work. It is great to see it growing and maturing into a real internet destination.
My favorite part of the site is easily the forums. Forums are typically a mixed bag. The anonymity that the internet provides tends can bring out some real negative behavior in posters. These forums do an amazing job of removing that veil and providing some really honest and helpful information. I know that anything I post will be answered or commented on constructively. It also helps to know that many of the posters are true experts in the sport and at the same time are so accessible. It is a true gem.
Of course your mileage may vary if you are a huge fan of Orvis or private land ownership…. 😉
