260 degrees on the Heat Gun is working brilliant, all my loops are holding up well, I’m testing them to failure, however the line is breaking above the loop (beyond any part I’m touching) consistently now

Anyone testing to failure?? Mine thus far have been on 4wt lines so I imagine they’re more than strong enough for that

Guys what breaking strain are you achieving with your loops mine are breaking around 6.5 – 7 kg which I guess is a fair bit of pull. Still using the Bic and White heat shrink sleeve (I haven’t found any Clear in Oz) I’ve been thinking of using my heat gun.
