Todd, my favorite 9wt is a T&T H1 “S” its one of 3 9wt’s I have and to say it’s the best (the others are a H2 and Heliply) it has a smooth progressive action

I was looking through some old photos for bream and found a couple of relative shots

A Fuzzel (the name Muz gave the pattern, my tie)

The Lark doing the ears is Muz, a mate (Rick Dobson) is holding the fish

;D Chris lives on the other side of Australia from me its two zones away… What he says is true, the river that the picture was taken is fairly narrow another view (the picture was taken at the time for Steve Dalley’s sake)

This is a Black Bream, they get the blue face as they get bigger/older. That is a Golden Olive BMS in the fishes mouth

Well done Neil, Muz would be pleased to see you fuzzling

Damn it Steve, thats your fault

in reply to: Scott S4 vs. E2 #23130

I can only compare those two rods as 6wts, the E2 is for me, a rod able to cast any range well I used it with a Sharkskin 6wt, it was easy to cast 100+ with the backing pulling tight to the reel. It also casts well short and mid ranges. The S4 is for me, a rod with a feeling I like, I prefer it short to medium and not so much at distance, given a choice I would take the S4, on a budget the E2 is way better than what you paying. I guess it also depends where it will slot into your rod range, I have a rod that is better for distance fishing and so would look at a rod to fill the gap, of the two, the E2 is a one rod solution

I agree some stuff is worth keeping, however threads like the one suggesting the board has a art/craft section will be of no real historical value

in reply to: First/Last Names Emails #22810

I always sign off with my real name, however no one calls me that any more cept Mum and my wife (don’t call me Andy, they both hate it

Zach, most boards cull posts and threads under 20k to keep the speed up also to stop long search slowing down the server

[some of this may not make sense… its Australia Day today 😉 G’day Steve]

The terms Fast, slow and parts there of can be applied to both Action and Recovery rate…

I would rate the S4 as Fast to Med Fast Action but Fast recovery…

Carter, I rebuilt a Chinese rod the year before last that I had for a few years, it sits along side my mostly high end rods and is easily a favourite, however I would say its a freak
