Bob, I’m in the same boat “not normally a fan of cast reels” and they say you can use them in the salt (I never would) however most cast reels don’t have they top of the range drag (they still use the same conical drag) and the casting looks better than most

Cameron, I’m sorta bemused, you put flies point first into the micro slits?? We use them the other way and find it far better works for dries and wets that way
