MemberHey Guys,
My name is Jason Hurst and I’m 33. Live in SW PA in a small city of West Newton. I have recently changed jobs, sort of? I worked for a the Weatherization program as an Energy Auditor, but just started working for Housing Authority as a maintence worker.
As for travel, I used to before my daughter was born(Genna 18 months). In fact I have made several trips to Montana and Yellowstone, one with Eric, and a trip to the Smokies on my honeymoon. My lovely wife  tolerats my addiction and I fish every other Sat. I now do most of my fishing locally, but still manage to fish Central Pa several times a year. I also fish/camp for a weekend in May along the Little J with Eric and a few other good friends.

David AndersonMember*A note for our American friends,
All of us here in Oz pretend to like and respect Al because he knows where all the fish get stocked and when..It’s a balance though between being nice and finding out the good spots and being to nice and geting signed up for slave work at the hatchery during spawning time.. 😉 ;D ;D

MemberI am 29 and reside in Atlanta working for Georgia Pacific. I grew up fishing and got my first flyrod when I was eight from my grandfather. It’s purpose was to keep me from bothering him while worked on our farm. Kind of fell out of it through high school and college and picked up after starting my first job. Do some trout fishing in the mountains, but bass fish farm ponds and local flows for the most part. Shoal bass are growing to be my prefered fish. Don’t really do any destination fishing. This year, hoping to land some carp and figure out the striper fishing at my parents house on Lake Greenwood and Saluda River.

MemberHi Josh, since you mentioned that you wanted to catch strippers I thought that I’d mention there are two places here in Athens where they congregate according to the male students in our school.

MemberI live in Patterson Lakes, Melbourne, Australia. 39 years old, on my second marriage, daughter from my first marriage who just made me a grandpa.
Joined the Australian Navy at 15 and picked up a trade. Worked as an electrician now for 24 years, mostly in an industrial sense, currently in aviation ground power.
Started fly fishing at 13, tying at 16. Have been a commercial tyer now for 23 years. I write the salt water fly tying column for FlyLife magazine (50th issue coming up!). I am proud to be a part of Scott Fly Rods Pro Staff.
I like to fish for anything I can get access to. Mostly salt water where I live, but I enjoy escaping to hassle some trout, bass and other freshwater natives from time to time.
I wish I had more time to fish…
Best Regards,
Beechy

MemberHi all,
I actually posted this under another thread, I didn’t see this intro thread until later, so I thought I should also post here.Hi all,
my name is Shane Broadby from Tasmania, Australia, 37 years old and have been flyfishing for around 22 years, My other passion is hunting, especially deer and I have hunted in Idaho and Wyoming and caught some nice Cutthroats in Colarado. I’ve also just got back recently from a fantastic trip to Christmas Island chasing Bones. I’ve only just found this site, it looks great and I’m looking forward to participating. -
