Very nice work guys. It’s on my calendar for next year. Glad you guys got to go, and had a good time. By the way, I always thoght that danged Grumpy was kind of, well, less than handsome. Turns out he’s very photogenic. Cool picture. And before any of you wise guys get any ideas, I mean that in a very manly man sort of way. He kind of looks like the Marlboro Man of fly fishing.

    Hi new guy.

Mike, are you saying I should bring a first aid kit when I fish with him?

Never mind. Just talked to him via IM. It’s him and I can’t wait to hear it. Good job.

    Hey MIKE!!!!!

Man, that surgery went very well. Congrats!!! If I hadn’t known you “before” I’d probably book a trip with you myself.

    Thanks Zach,

That gives me a better understanding. Must read fine print in each website’s privacy policy.

    That helps.

If I had requirement number 7 for a hat, I’d never be able to find one that met specs.

Quote: “The whole reason I went to law school was to make enough money that I could pay people to do stuff like this instead of having to do it myself.”

And they wonder why lawyers have image problems? Nothing about “helping people” just about making money! That’s so sad. But that’s about 90% of the profession.

    ::) Oh brother.

bd, Mike, thanks for the follow up. Very informative.

Not sure what I’m going to do, or when for that matter.

Thanks for the test drive offer too Mike.

    About the Riverhawk boats..

Would an aluminum jon boat with the same beam as the B60 be just as stable?

Seems like it would be more rock resistant than fiber glass for sure.

Other than one canoe, I have no small boat experience.  All of my previous boats have been big, heavy, high horsepower bass boats. Great fishing platforms. No good on the Duck, Harpeth, Caney, Elk.

I have never been near the dam on the Caney or the Elk when they are generating.  Are the conditions like those at Cordel Hull or Old Hickory?

If so, I don’t think I would like being in that small of a boat anywhere near the dam. Call me chicken, but that kind of water even rocks those big center console boats like TK and TimM have. Makes me just a little nervous when we are up there catching bait or drifting for schoolies.

    Bump to top.

    Anyone?

    Anyone at all?
