The turkey’s quietly roasting on the Weber, so outside of adding 16 new coals every hour, I’m free to sit down and write.
A week ago my new http://www.troutunderground.com site went live, and I uploaded an article about my spring trip to the Smokies and nearby tailwaters.
It’s a compilation of my http://www.uppersac.com fishing reports — which recorded very high readership numbers when they were published.
My local readers check http://www.uppersac.com to find out what’s happening on the Upper Sacramento River, but apparently they’re interested in what’s happening elsewhere too… 😎

Hope you enjoy the articles — and the site. I’d like it to eventually become a writer’s site with articles and essays from a variety of sources.
I’m in the process of lining up a few contributors, and the Upper Sacramento fishing reports generate steady traffic to the site, so if you’ve got something to say that’s consistent with our “fun” theme, then maybe you’d like to say it there.
Naturally, I’d love to hear any feedback about the article or Web site either directly or here.
Looking forward to sharing a few words.
Take care,
Tom Chandler
