Hey guys –
I am building the new podcast now. I’ve switched to Skype recording for the interview but as this is the first session there’s a few bugs to work out. About 7 minutes into the interview Comcast went black for the whole city of Knoxville (figures), and while I was waiting for it to come back so I could continue the interview I realized I’d been recording in Medium quality rather than High. Thus, the podcast sounds a hell of a lot better in the second half of the interview. *G* Such is life. Future interviews should sound at least that good though.
Look for it later this afternoon.

Knoxville is for some reason dealing with internet blackouts through Comcast today.
I don’t know if you know this or not…but podcast show #7 shows up when iTunes searches for new episodes, but then does not download…it says that it can not be found on server…

Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the new podcast. I listened to it today while driving back from fishing an unnamed runoff stream between poudre canyon and steamboat. It was nice to hear the man behind the classic rod forum – I’ve gotten a lot of good info from there over the past few years.

Boulder, COP.S. Incidentally, I heard on the podcast that AJ made you a 6611. He made me one last year, and I can’t get enough of it. What a sweet little stick!
P.P.S. For you CO folks wondering about it, the snow is still 8 feet thick in a snow field I walked by at 11000. The reservoir up there is still solidly covered with about a foot of ice, too. Looks like it will be an unusually long runoff, but should make for some awesome fishing in late summer.
