Congrats to everyone. Well done. Great prizes and great entries. Like Simon, I too have enjoyed watching this come together.

Kevin, see you when you get here.

Joel-Can I borrow your new rod?

    That’s funny right there.

Course, I don’t have any room to talk. I like food almost as much as fishin’.

There is no doubt, that JD’s electric stone, is one of the finest flies I have ever tossed. There is also no doubt that I need to learn how to use it.

Tell him that’s all I’m going to fish, when the river drops, until I catch a dink of my own on one.

    Kevin,

Looks like to me Lando just called you out as a dink grayling catcher.

You gonna let him get away with that?

    😉

    Dear Whale Whacker,

Joel is sitting right her beside me thanking you for not posting pictures of his absurdly large fish that would make you all look bad.

(says the guy that showed up just in time to drink beer and eat dinner.Damned jobs anyway!!)

What can I say?? I LIKE STEAK!!

Enjoyed it man, really enjoyed it.

Glad you guys enjoyed your time on The Little San Juan.

    Come on back, allayall!!

It may not be exactly like the recipe picture, but I like it. A lot.

My fish would eat that thing every day.

That’s one of the things I like about building bugs-You can make them your own.

I tend to tie quick and simple, a little on the sparse side for something like these. Mine will never win any beauty pageants, but the fish like ’em.

Are the Russian brides less expensive to maintain than the American ones?

    Kevin,

    Bring it!

You can stay at my shack and I’ll trade you room and board for a little artwork. Long as you don’t mind sleeping on a cot and eating burritos. Plus I’ll throw in the map to Joel’s honey holes for free.

Course, you may have to let him row you down the river one day to get to them but I’m sure he’s up for it.

In my opinion, this area is one of Montana’s least famous great spots left.

I was thinking the word Montana above the Neon Fish, with David’s suggestion under the fish?

You don’t want me to hack it up!
