Well, you found good water; you were (literally) about 50 feet from my old apartment where that “Off the Grid” scene was filmed, haha. Also, impossible to say for sure, but I am fairly certain that long rodder in the rain was my buddy Brett. Small world. Come see me next time or shoot me an email before you head up. Cheers,

    Rob,

Might be a little late on this – have you already been up to our area? If not give me a shout at the store, 216-591-1681 or shoot me a PM. Cheers,

    Andrew,

Out of curiousity, what are you going to use the rod for? Single-hand nyhmphing, short-belly spey, both, etc.

The fishing, scenery and generally everything about Ohio is lousy; y’all should head somewhere else next time.

I posted a similar thread a while back so I won’t bog this one down with pictures. I have a chocolate lab who’s been keeping me company on the rivers for a while now. He’s 14 months old now, I got him when he was 8 months. Never thought I’d want him to be a working dog but turns out I’m going to give waterfowl hunting a shot this fall. Any of you guys have experience training an “older” dog to retrieve? Any suggestions?

Sweet. I Never got the right conditions on the flats this year, when it all goes right I’m sure it’s a blast. Nice fish!

    Hey Duncan,

Been running into this a lot when selling these boots. For quite a few folks that have bought the Ultralight in my store, we have gone a full size down from their normal boot size. These boots have a wider design than most, hence the discrepancy. Try a size smaller and I think you might be in good shape. I have been wearing mine for a couple of months now, and have been very happy with them so far.

Chaco Z2’s with Diamond Stealth rubber (or whatever they’re calling the sticky rubber sole now)… greatest footwear on the planet. All I wear for about 5 months a year. Definitely 2 thumbs up!
