MemberMarks-Both good ideas I think, but personally, I would like to know more about the personalized fly boxes. Honestly though, if y’all are like me, we all need another fly box about as much as we need another wife.
D.One more thing, Aaron, I think we need to assign nicknames to all of these “Marks” to lessen any potential confusion.

MemberWelcome Joe, glad to have you here!
One of these days we are going to outnumber the boys with red on their necks
I don’t know Tim; I think we reproduce more rapidly 😉

MemberIs everyone flying into atlanta, then hitching a ride or getting a rental? Or has this been decided yet?
D.dusty montgomery
MemberOf course. We’ll take the wife’s fuel-saver!

MemberPaul,
Good to see you again, been a while. If we can get this off the ground, and I can manage getting away from the office, I’m in.

MemberThe flip side of the coin is me.

Memberyou really hate Thumper don’t you?
Dammit, Cameron, I almost spewed a fine malted beverage all over my screen and keyboard!

MemberNeal,
If we are going to do this, lets start a new thread to keep all of the info. centralized. You think we can pull it off?
D.dusty montgomery
MemberNeal-
Many here already know about the M.D., but I think we are going to have to add an honorary title of Ph.D. to your growing list of accolades. Very informative post, and I look forward to your results re. the woolies. Are those bluegills of the “Georgia Giant” variety? I saw a website claiming to have 5lb. ‘gills. You Georgia boys been holding out on us? :'(
Many Thanks,

MemberDang Zach-no love for the fatherland? Or just insufficient fishing opportunities?
dusty montgomery
MemberI posted this in another thread, but it seemed fitting given the topic. This is a buffalo caught at a local tail-water with a Clouser Foxy Minnow.

MemberIf y’all can pull off the ‘clave, I would bet we could show with a small Texas group. Always wanted to go to Georgia, but what would we fish for?
Cameron-We could also broaden our sauce/rub swap!

MemberThank you Neal, I appreciate that. It still seems painfully slow though, especially when I see what you other guys are creating. I am thinking about chucking the job and going back to school for an MFA in Photography. Then maybe I can put up some similar work!

MemberHey guys, check this link:
http://www.lifesaversystems.com/An almost $200 water bottle, but it filters everything and is good for 1,500 gallons. I think it was developed with natural disasters like Katrina in mind, but the military may also be interested.

MemberThanks for the feedback guys. It certainly was a nice trip and needed relief from the Metroplex.
David, as John said, coming from you, the comment is quite meaningful. Also, you piqued my curiosity about “sense of scale.” It was certainly nothing I did purposefully, but I would be interested to hear what you have to say on the subject and how/why one does this.
I am not convinced yet that wife enjoys the fishing; maybe she has just realized that going on a trip is the only way we will ever spend time together on the weekends.

Memberthat vid had some good suggestions: gluing the thread to avoid gooping up the fur, and pushing the skin up into the conehead. Good find Neal.

MemberJohn-I don’t mind; it’s not like the place is a well-guarded secret anymore. Now, if we were to start discussing honey-holes, there may need to be some secrecy and a case of Shiner. It’s called the Lower Mountain Fork, located in SE Oklahoma outside of Broken Bow.
