MemberI have seen quite a few introductions made recently, and having not formally done so myself, I figured I would tell everyone hello. I stumbled across this site a few weeks ago, and have since been wondering why I did not discover it sooner. This group seems to be a very dedicated bunch of anglers with a wealth of good information and I appreciate what you guys share here. I look forward to getting more involved and maybe hitting the water with some of you in the future.

The Itinerant AnglerAndrew –
Standard question: where do you live and what do you fish for?

MemberI live in Marietta, Ga. As far as the fishing goes, I will fish for anything that will take a fly. I started out trout fishing, but love the warm water stuff, and head to the salt whenever I get the chance.

MemberIt’s a small world! I live down the road. We will have to go fishing sometime.

MemberGlad to know there are some metro atlanta folks on the board. You can never have enough fishing buddies. Let’s get out on the water some time. Thanks for the compliment on the pic. That was last week in Georgetown, SC fishing for redfish.

The Itinerant AnglerAndrew, you do realize that I also live in Marietta, right?

MemberVery Small world.
I found Zach’s podcast on iTunes, then found the web site. I had no idea that he was in Marietta at first.

MemberI’m in, let’s do it.
Cameron, I went to school at USC, so we have something in common as well. I lived in Columbia for 4 years.

MemberIf y’all can pull off the ‘clave, I would bet we could show with a small Texas group. Always wanted to go to Georgia, but what would we fish for?
Cameron-We could also broaden our sauce/rub swap!

MemberDang Zach-no love for the fatherland? Or just insufficient fishing opportunities?
Aug 1, 2008 at 12:16 am #27906Andrew Wright
MemberI agree with Zach, there are places to fish in Georgia, but there are better places within a reasonable driving distance. Atlanta is a good hub for alot of locations though. I am seriously in if you guys want to try and put something together and don’t mind an IA newbie tagging along. Lets really try and make something happen.
