Yeah dude, the basket itself is okay concept but its really the fingers that make the whole thing work if you ask me.

by the time you tie a knot in them there is no way those are lighter than a bit of yarn half hitched into your leader.
Well they are really paying the 15K so they can hang it on their wall, not so they can shoot it like a styrofoam target (which is what they are doing, you are right).
I’m pretty sure that only the first 15 feet or so come off that line when you change the tips then you’ve still got the back end of the taper built into that running line.
