    Check out the Abel rod cases…many sizes…shapes…and look to be pretty solid built.

    What I am about to tell does not look very good cosmetically, but what about stacking the tubes you use the most, two, three, four piece, and zip tie them together.

    When traveling by car I use those lightweight cardbox tubes they use to ship posters/construction drawings etc. It’s just to keep the rods together rather than having them protected from luggage

    Carter Sierra had some double barrel three piece DB Dunn cases for cheap. I use then for my three and four piece rods

    Yeah, from all my searching it looks like I missed some good deals on the DB Dunn bombproof cases.
