Fish and a Bear

Got some warm weather monday Nicole and I decided to go on a short hike and try and catch some fish while we were down near the river. Nicole did most of the catching while I was taking in the sights. On our way home we were talking about how its been about three weeks since we have seen our neighborhood bear. Sure enough as we make the turn into the driveway there he was filling up on the acorns in the yard. (The picture is blurry it was towards dark and I didn’t have a tripod handy)
Pennsylvania is having a two day archery season this year for bears i’m going to try for one with my longbow. The fish is from a small trib of the Yough river in Ohiopyle, Pa.

Sweet fish. I’ve wanted to fish western PA for a long time. I’ll trade you a day on the water there for one either here in southeastern PA or up north on Kettle Creek.
JohnJ.P when do you want to come? While your in are western Maryland not a bad idea either. Right now weekends are my best bet for full days. email me we’ll get it all set up.
