    Michael,
    I humped my borrowed lens around it the Bob Marshall Backcountry on horseback for a week wrapped in a pair of heavy boot socks w/o so much as a scratch. Add the ziploc bag as suggested above and you are water resistant and shock resistant as well.

    John,
    I can’t give you a post op account however being a therapist that works with folks who have had knee replacements (TKR) I can offer the following thoughts:
    1 Don’t rush your recovery; knee replacements are very much a major surgery regardless of how routine they have become it will take time for tissues to heal and swelling to resolve so it will hurt for a while. That being said try to keep it moving as much as possible.
    2 Consider minmally invasive approaches. Our surgeons are using DaVincci Robots

    Is that roadside shot the full stream or just aside channel?
    It always amazes me how many people will hike to the ends of the world and pass by little gems like that just because it is so preposterously visible.

    That is almost a classic coloration for a Pennsylvania brown. I frequently refer to them as “butter bellies” because of the wonderful golden color they carry on their bellies.

    Zach,
    Most pharmacies carry them. Alternatly you could try an electric beard/mustache trimmer. I have used the one we have for grooming dogs when trying to mass produce sculpins with fairly effective results.

    Tim,
    How horrible you forced the poor innocent child to miss a very important day education for such frivolity as spending time in nature with family. Shame on you how in the world will that ever help her teacher prove how worthy they are when the lovely standardized tests roll around in the spring. Everyone knows our youth need not be well rounded just able to guess the correct dot on the test answer sheet.

    You are coming out way ahead on the trade with Jack even if you had to wear purple tights!!!!!!!
    There certainly is something special about colored up Salmonoids and Char of any stripe or genetic history.
