    Gotta love Big Sky Country.

I noticed a theme fish and biting flies on every little blue line.

    Hey guys –

I have Yellowstone pretty well figured now
    Zach

You’ve got all 2,219,789 acres figured out eh?  (or 3,472 square miles for those that are counting)

Tim what is that in Hectares? 😉

    Welcome John.

    in reply to: Colorado…. #52778

In a kind of ironic twist I listened to a news report yesterday which was saying how great the drought is for the CO fly fishing industry since all of the rivers are way lower than normal for the time of year.

All I could do was shake my head and say “it’s great until the water is 80*+ and the fires have burned everything to the ground.

Do you know if the Outback has any towing capacity? Any experience with any of the hybrid SUV’s and towing? I have a boat less than 1000lbs. Thanks

In terms of power and drivetrain no problem stock! If you want to go bigger (>1000#)

    Curtis,
Not sure if it would fit your needs but I have a subaru Imprezza that has around 255,000 on it and is still going strong (with the exception of a little body cancer around the wheel wells). The outback wagons are just as comfortable and put you in the mid 20’s for milage.

    Allan,
Afishing buddy of mine has a GO PRo Hero that he wears chest mounted for all of our trips. He uses the Movie Maker program with pretty decent results.

    Sam,
Deep Creek is also within esay striking distance of the Savage Drainage as well as N Branch Potomac and the Yough.

All have good potential and it just depends on what you want.

in reply to: Quality inexpensive flies? #59000

In the past I have used
    blueflycafe.com
and was very happy with the flies I received.

The flyshop has a very good reputation as well.
