GoPro and software

OK, I wanted to be able to make some video to share with fishing partners and maybe put it on youtube, so I bought a GoPro and used the roll bar clamp to mount it on my skiff’s poling platform.

I plan on living forever, so far so good.

No idea on how to setup the camera (I don’t own one), but I’d recommend Adobe Premier Elements for editing.

Afishing buddy of mine has a GO PRo Hero that he wears chest mounted for all of our trips. He uses the Movie Maker program with pretty decent results.

Windows Movie Maker is actually a pretty decent program (never doubt Microsoft’s willingness to give away for free what others charge for).
