MemberLove the Cape! I grew up going there 3x a year at Hidden Dunes…gulf on one side bay across the street, pretty sweet!
Shark point at the end of the cape a bunch of fun and whether surf fishing or out on a boat, plenty of cobia, spanish Mack’s, specks, possibly Tarpon down the road,

MemberThanks and glad you enjoyed my post! Great trip indeed and to have the Pan all to yourself, 50-60′ weather in the winter, hatches going off for hours at a time and yes……plenty of fish!
That’s one to remember for sure [smiley=beer.gif]
*The link to our video is on top of the thread and I’ll repost the final clip link when done

MemberSounds great and can’t wait to get back myself! One thing about Patty that I learned was that people are so friendly, the fish are wild and rarely see anyone, drinking Malbec’s and Pisco’s go hand in hand and you better bring one Huge memory card for tons of pictures…enjoy!
Streamers down there are about 50% black and 50% olive from what I gathered and also caught a few chromers also on some flashy steelhead flies so it’s better to bring more than not enough fo sho 😉
Here was my trip a short time ago
