MemberJake,
Glad you could make it out this way! Great trip report and even better Greenback pictures, love those colors and we’ve been up there quite a bit lately ourselves and can’t wait to get on a few more if lucky~

MemberLucky you and I can’t wait to get back down there myself as well! If you’re looking at any DIY days out and in need of a great guide my recomendation without a doubt would be Francisco with Tres Piedras
http://www.trespiedras.cl/ tell him I sent you he may be able to help.We had an incredible time fishing with them and they cover areas from Bariloche, San Martin, to the Chile areas of Puerto Montt to Southern Chile!
Have a great trip~

MemberThere Ya Go…nice going Corey!

MemberNice going and what I tell my friends that I take out…get ready once you land your 1st Carp, it’s all over after that and the addiction ensues

MemberYeah you usually jinx yourself when trying to catch fish with a camera but we managed to do okay. Ready for more action on my 12wt again and sorry we didn’t have the 100lb Lemon shark on film, the fight was sweet with a few splashes but she managed to escape the lens once close to the boat…

MemberDepends what you’re into? A number of choices from:
1)laney Buttes in North Park, big fish, nice scenary, few crowds, camping and can catch fish easily from shore if no boat.
2) Frying Pan is always hot that time of year but so are the crowds, great place and you’ll probably see me there.
3) Dream Stream (south platte-south park)
Can be very hot also this time of year but many people, big bruisers moving in
4) Gray Reef-North Platte, incredible place and even better with a boattradd d
MemberNice read and some interesting points made in there, thanks~
