is a good place but slowing down a ton right now. Deckers is on fire and if i was to go anywhere it would be up towards Summit county right below Green Mtn Rez on the Blue, water perfect flows and a few browns still moving up. Shoot me a PM and I can hook you up if needed

    Eric,

I think you have a Lab puppy? I don’t claim to be an expert on Labs or puppy training, though I just lost my 11 year Old Choc Lab http://flyfishaddiction.com/Dog_Folder.html a few months ago and trained him early on. I also own a Pet Business.

I have about 50 puppy clients (300 total)and have seen it all! One of the biggest tips you can do during this initial Loving, yet behavioral role, is definitely the crate training which you are doing. There’s no secret early on since it’s a trial and error depending on each individial does when they cry/bark/whine to leave in or take out. As they start to get older I would leave them in there to acclimate them since most dogs hate it. As time goes on they will adapt also and stop once a few bathroom incidents also arise.

As far as alarm clocks, I’ve also heard of that, the pheremone works on some dogs but not all, it is also used for dogs marking territory’s inside around the house. As he get’s older and you can see if he has a senstive stomach to various treats/foods, I use the Popsicle method, I grab a kong, put various kibbles or peanut butter in and freeze it each day. They lick on it for hours and most of my puppy clients love it!

There are many tips out there to try, some work some don’t…it’s just trial and error which with puppies is about everything ๐Ÿ™‚

Here is a Fav forum of mine you can try or PM me if you need help alond the way, I have a ton of useful info.

Some of these pictures truely show the beauty in Trout! This is why I love to fish and to see these amazing colors, besides the color of a spawning Geenback Cutty, Fall Browns are about as good as it gets for me!

    Kent,

Nice Beast!! I’m Jealous…had to cancel my Tampa Redfish trip over Turkey week due to recent surgery but maybe will be better by Jan down in LA.

Oh yeah, saw that you are with Riverkeepers on the Flint. My Dad organized the big River float through Albany the other weekend for the Flint, they had over 100 people participate, good conservation efforts~
