MemberJust wondering what are everybody’s favourite fly fishing Internet sites????…besides this great forum of course.
Please include forums, shop sites, blogs, or whatever you like online related to fly fishingJun 18, 2009 at 6:31 pm #37268todd woodcroft
Memberhi mike,
if you are like me (and i see that you are a canadian like me; so we have something in common),Jun 18, 2009 at 6:33 pm #37269todd woodcroft
Memberalso, even though it is more “locally oriented”, andy roth (mayhaps the best guide in the mid west) writes a lot of interesting articles about fishing in the minnesota/wisconsin corridor.

Cameron MortensonMemberGreat thread. There is really so much quality out there that it is really hard to keep up with everything that is going on with the forums, blogs, and websites.
Besides I.A. I spend most of my online forum time on Fiberglass Flyrodders (http://fiberglassflyrodders.yuku.com/).
Kevin Powell has been working hard on his site, red dirt studio, and reintroduced it this week.

MemberI’m a forum junkie.
In addition to this site (which is the FF-related one I have on a quick button at the top of my browser), I’m frequently on:
http://www.flyanglersonline.com/
http://littleriveroutfitters.com/
http://www.classicflyrodforum.com/
http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php
http://www.sexyloops.co.uk/And my most recent find:

pretty damn good and funnyJun 22, 2009 at 10:06 pm #37274kevin powell
MemberI second most of the sites mentioned. Moldy Chum and Cameron’s blog are two of my favorites. http://midcurrent.com/ is one of the best all around sites on the web.
My site sort of hits a different angle – not a whole lot of fishing info but a bunch of great folks that like to fish and talk about all the great times had along side the fishing trips we all take (and art) The site is rolling again with a new and different design after a long period off – still workin on it during any breaks I get. My site looks different but not a whole lot of meat but it will come.

MemberAhh I just swapped my Bookmark folders onto my new Laptop and I hate to say it but I had over 800 fishing sites, ouch waay to much time online..funny I don’t think 9 hours a day is too much time to spend on fishing sites??
Here’s a few:

http://midcurrent.com
http://www.moldychum.com/

MemberI admit to spending a little time online too….OK maybe more than a little time (but not 9 hours like Tradd D….only 8 hours and 55 minutes a day LOL LOL)….I spend time on IA most days….and check sites like MidCurrent, local Canadian/Ontario forums such as Hipwader and Fly Fish Ontario, as well as NAFF, FAOL…..even write a bit most days on my own blog…..in fact I have listed well over 300 (probably closer to 400) Internet links posted on my blog(no shameless self promotion LOL LOL; in fact you don’t even need to read the blog entries…but check out these resource links; lots of good stuff there)….guess this really means I need to spend more time on the water….but let me check out the local fly shops’ river reports first….

MemberBetween photography and fly fishing blogs my reader is always full of interesting stuff.
Of course I love all my IA buddies blogs the most! My blog list goes on and on, but I think the bigger fly fishing sites I enjoy most are midcurrent, TIF (and TIF Daily), CATCH.

MemberGREAT casting site that many of the finest casters and anglers on the planet frequent, also quirky, irreverant, and at times right out there in discussions on politics, religion, whatever – and best of all its not cliquey and regional, its definitely world wide. Sometimes its like being in a pub at about 11 o’clock at night. Many world wide friendships (and enmities) have been made there.

MemberI go on salmoncrazy.com in the fall during salmon/steel run in new york.
It has a lot of updates and current weather/water etc. There is this site, fly fisherman which was the first forum I ever went on
I’ll troll surftalk every now and then.
I read midcurrent news every day and refer a lot of clients to it, e.g. the dry-dropper rig set up.my local tu chapter when I remember it.
This has become my go to now. No BS, just straight up fishingJun 24, 2009 at 3:55 pm #37281Gary Sundin
