    When I tie rubber SJW I use the rubber band from a celery stalk.  It is lively and you can make it any size..

    Those things are like duct tape I save them all, just refitted my duck decoys using them to hold the line and weight to the keel.

    12 Dogs of Christmas Ale by Thirsty Dog Brewing for tonight. The recommendation of a guy I started talking with in the beer store turns out he’s also a fly fisherman small world.

    Thanks Tim, I love my smoker and I can understand needing an intervention…you can drink a lot of beer watching smoke come out the stack.

    Also Smallmouth on the  upper section of the  Huron and Steelhead below Hurock.

    Plus great waterfowl hunting at Point Mouille.

    It was darn hot here yesterday for the dog we did a walk around the edge of a bean field and got 6 out of the stones, and with it being 97 today I think we’ll hold off. My dove gun is a 20ga SxS with dual triggers using 8’s so I don’t bother with the long shots. Heading down to the river to check on the Teal for tomorrows opener should be some carp in the low water area’s.

    Thanks for the reminder Dave I have a flat of 16ga shells and my Great Uncles SxS to play with.
