Been a while since I posted anything … Let alone a report. New house, lots of web work, and a semi-new job has conspired to keep me off the message boards and doing other stuff lately. I wanted to post this report a while back, but also wanted to wait til I knew what pics might be use elsewhere.

So… Last March I able to get a trip together to head down to KW and try for some Permit. *cough* *cough* “try” is the operative word here. I also had the opportunity to met up with Pete McDonald of http://fishingjones.com/ and do some fishing for Peacocks in Miami. Pete has made a couple cool posts on his blog about Florida Peacocks over the years and I had been hitting him up for info for a while. So, he actually agreed to meet up and do a little fishing.

Got plenty of Peacocks, but blew the only two legit shots at a Permit I had. A real Yin and Yang trip … I will def be heading back for both destinations again!  😉

Thanks dudes .. The trip was a blast. I also forgot to give some props to the Captains who busted ass to get us into fish on both trips. I’ll add it to the original post, but if you are ever down in those areas …
