InactiveEvery year I try Anchor Steams “Our Special Ale”. OSA. It’s a new blend every year created by their staff. Usually really tasty and unique. This years version however I am not a big fan of. I’d agree that Red Hooks – Winter Hook is good.

MemberFor those of us in the Midwest, Boulevard’s Nutcracker Ale is very good, but I may be drinking Tallgrass Brewing’s Velvet Rooster – the first Belgian Trippel in a can – over the holidays.

MemberYou guys gotta’ get down south more – Rahr’s Bourbon Barrel-Aged Winter Warmer is a good place to start. Or, try the Real Ale 15th. Anniversary Russian Imperial Stout. We’re talking stout. This stuff doesn’t taste like potpourri.

Aaron, if those brews are gone from the stores already, hows about holding onto one for old pop’s?
If another Hardy decides to leave the house, you’ll get first dibs! -
