No reason I can see to exclude anyone. A photo contest would be logical, but does anyone have any other suggestions. Perhaps something that would be less time intensive for Zach.

Made an undercover reconnaissance trip to the local Walmart today and was pleased to find out they don’t carry fly fishing gear or hamsters.

I’m certain that the very nice Walmart associate from the hamster aisle that is covering sporting goods when you get there will be more than happy to devote her smoke break to helping explain the finer points of rod length and line weights to you.

    Aaron,
I live in northern Ohio and fish for steelhead  a lot. I would worry more about the rest of your body before you get to concerned about your hands.  Standing tea bag deep in  30 some degree water will make you glad you thought about more than your gloves. In my experience a dry pair of gloves is always best.  I like the cheap knit gloves and I don’t worry about if they match. 3 pair is a good start plus some in the truck just in case. If your hands are that cold the slush and ice on your guides will be a bigger PITA.
PM me if your looking for someone to fish with.

    Hannah,
Glad to see your making such good use of the gear. I can see now why your dad wanted a pink sock for your fly rod. I hope fly fishing with your dad brings you years of memories.

Nicely done Aaron this will make up for my previous experience in fly swapping. The nippers are promos from my shop glad they will be in the hands of folks that will use them. I was talking with a neighbor about fishing a part of a local creek when he says
