I grew up in the shadow of the Sangres where the ranch is located but have never been there before. I have spent many hours looking at it on maps, but have never been there before. Enjoy it and yes pictures would be nice!

I looked at the ones in the Fly Shop today and they are all tied with 2mm foam on the back and 1mm foam on the front of the fly.
I guess you could only carry eggs, worms, parachutes, RS2s and PT nymphs, but what fun would that be?
Look at you all cleaned up. Your wife’s hot and the lady in the wedding dress ain’t bad either.

and…………….?? I’ve just been reading all about the hardy ultralite reels made in Korea.
There is some thing printed on the reel.
Zach, did you have a chance to checkout the Hardy “Ultralite” Fly Reel? I see it won best of the show for freshwater reels.

I’ve found that a down eye hook on these tends to get the fly to sit right on the water. When tied on a straight eye hook, I never know if the chernobyl variations are going to land right side up or not. Is that what you have experienced as well? Just curious.

I haven’t tied these or any other hopper/terrestrials on a straight eyed hook so I don’t know that makes a difference or not.
Here is a video I did for this pattern. It’s getting a ton of talk out West.
