I know that Charlie Craven at Charlie’s Fly Box in Denver, carries a good stock of cree neck and saddles from Whiting.
Brett, I hope that runoff has taken its course by the time you get here. I guide on the Arkansas and the South Platte. Both rivers are running high and are way unfishable as we speak.

someone told me they had done really well using ‘Charlies Mysis’ a few weeks ago. He had pics to prove it. I’d tie a few of those up for the trip. The upper CO has been fishing well the past few weeks too.

Here is a sweet pattern that I have fished for years. It works great all summer covering the stones and hoppers. All you have to do is change foam colors. It floats like a cork and can soupprt a good size dropper and oh yea, it catches fish too!
Unless you have a standing relationship with the owner of the shop and this was understood from the beginning, I don’t think that is a fair deal. If I were in his situation, I would frown on it and ask you to go your way or my way.
