Should you find yourself in NW Montana, drop me a line. ย I have the summers off and a great river in the back yard.

Great stuff guys! Feel bad for the guy who didn’t know how to row his boat. That can make for a bad day in a hurry!

Love the picture of of Corey K holding the cricket Doug! Seems to be missing something though…. ::)

I dont think Montana is all that strict on their bull trout regulations. ย I mean…half the outfitters in the state not only actively pursue the fish with their clients, they blatantly advertise bull trout fishing on their websites. ย

Hmmm….I would like to see a little proof of that. I know that you will see pictures of them from time to time on their websites but that is all I have ever seen.

    Mark,

Ron Snow is a NuCanoe dealer and that is the boat we use here at the ranch. They are a little on the heavier side but VERY stable which is why we use them. I just told Ron about this post so I am sure he will be able to tell you lots more!

Ok, there is WAY too much good stuff here and for fear that Phil will have nothing to talk about I will add a couple of my own just so he has something to be critical about.

Mike B….I’d stick to the Bozeman made models…but I know that you’re kind of a penny pinching miser so the imported model might win out. ย HA…

Could not agree more Cam. Mike stick with the real deal. Try some on and let me know what you want and I will make you a deal on a pair.

in reply to: Calling all guides. #36306

Dunfly if you are interested in maybe coming to Western Montana I could certainly hook you up and I have the perfect guide to put you with. One of my guides has been guiding in Western Montana since the early 70’s. He is now a retired school teacher and would be more than happy to give you all of the information you would need to have lots of success on your own. I encourage my guides to help make our clients trips just as enjoyable as it would be when they are using us.

If you are interested in more info Bob shoot me a PM. I don’t want to be too self promoting on the forum if that is ok.

Carl lives in Wanaka, just down the road and I think Stu’s was the logical starting point.
I’ve sent you an email with some more teasers Joel.
I’ll get some NZ DVDs your way.
Is the best postal address the one on your signature?
Be good to see you next year.
We’ll go mousing, although it might be done by April? ::)

My signature address is the best this time of year Simon. I basically live at work just ask Deb. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I might have to talk Deb into playing hooky from school so we can do the mouse thing…OR maybe I will have to make TWO trips next year! I like the second idea better… ๐Ÿ˜Ž

The film can only be bought here, from Stu’s flyshop

    ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ™‚

How did Stu manage to get exclusive rights to selling that film Simon? I think I am going to have to get that one so I can take a stroll down memory lane while watching it!

Deb is still talking about the trip Simon and trying to figure out how to get back next year! I sure hope she figures it out too! ๐Ÿ˜‰
