Slough Creek 3rd Meadow, Mid-Late August

Anyone interested in backpacking into the 3rd meadow of slough creek with me sometime in mid-late August?

Tim,

I’m 10′ tall and bullet proof, but spending time in the Slough Creek area alone is not on my agenda, I realize I think different at 51 than I did 20+ years ago.

I’m not sure the park service will let you go it alone, some areas of the Gallatin water shed, have to have 3 people to go.

I’m sure someone will chime in.

Tom and I will be on the Slough around 24-26th time frame, but won’t be staying due to my sleep apnea, but would love to do it.

If all else fails and you cant get a campsite, you can make it to the third meadow in a day hike.
