I agree about liking local shops! I enjoy sitting around and shooting the breeze too and I hate online shopping :/
BD, I agree with you a drift boat has no place in Tennessee where you live, its much more fun and safe for 3 guys to fly fish out of a canoe  ::)
What Jarrod means to say is, “I feel terrible about that time Brian lost the top end of his rod out of my drift boat during generation, the current was too swift to row back upstream, and I didn’t have a motor to go back for it. Â If only we were in his Gheenoe that wouldn’t have happened.” Â ;D

ccg is not really a good adhesive because it is hard for the curing light to hit it when putting 2 things together.. Goop is awesome though !
I don’t need another boat right now, but this looks like so much fun ! I am cleaning out the cabinet shop this weekend and going to find a project boat. Thanks for posting the process !
I sure remember McClellans myself 🙂 some of my best fishing memories of the past years started when I stepped off the right side of that dock and headed up to the long riffle. Great times I am sure for a lot of people!
Nice fish too Matt, and thanks for sharing the photos , they are awesome too.I have been down the exact same road, and I made the switch to the dyna king and I am totally happy with it. I will also add that the vice mentioned above that supposedly put the fit and finish on the dyna king to shame is not even close
I had a couple pair of the older Korkers, and I also had trouble keeping the soles on, and I now have the new korkers with the boa system and the soles have never given me any trouble. I think they have sorted that problem out..
