MemberScott, I’ve actually noticed the opposite. I’ve tried several models of NiMH rechargeable batteries all ranging from 2500 to 2700 mah and they’ve all recycled slower than regular throw away batteries, they don’t last near as long before needing to be charged either. I still use the rechargeables in the flash when I’m shooting something around the house and I’m religious about using them in all the remote controls and other things I’ve got at home but I’ve gone back to throw away Duracell batteries (the “Lithium” ones) for the flashes whenever I’m out somewhere. Horrible for the environment I know (I do dispose of them properly though) but they are just more reliable. The rechargeables won’t hold their charge either, when they sit unused they drain.
