Excuse the dumb question from a salt guy, but the markings look substantially different on all three fish.
I have been using GOOP adhesive to attach eyes, although I would also be interested in other suggestions.
So, Zach, do you not sleep? Is that how you are able to maintain a law practice while tying flies, shooting photos, writing articles, making podcasts and taking cool trips? Or are they, as one of my Trout Unlimited friends used to say “another coffin nail in a once-thriving law practice”?
This has come up before and I will let you in on a little known secret…Zach is actually twin brothers. It is actually Zach and his brother Zach. It is not known whether one is a lawyer and the other a fly fisherman or if the are interchangeable. My understanding is they are so much alike that no one can tell them apart, except maybe Lauren….hopefully.

I think these are the biggest, after further review. Not sure if they are exclusively freshwater or not.

Great article Zach. Some things, like flies, are probably best (economically) done overseas. Can you imagine an American tying 36,000 of the same fly every year without commiting suicide. I just hope those ladies are treated right.
Of course, the trick is knowing who has the “A” flies. I can’t tie little flies due to my big hands and residual neuropathy so I have been buying from either Orvis or Troutflies.com for $1.25 to $1.75 per fly. I wonder how much of that actually ends up in the tyers hands.
I have been wanting to go to Belize to tour and fish, however, I recently read on one of the fishing forums about how dangerous it was down there (once you are away from the fishing destinations).
