I liked your shots, particularly the statues. I can’t give you any suggestions, since I am a complete novice. The only SLR I own is an old Pentax K1000. The only thing that I noticed is that the background in the river shots lacked a certain crispness (I’m sure that is not a photographic term). I think I have a backgroud fettish. Even with my point and shoot, I am always trying to get good forground and background elements. That being said, I think good color and focus in the background trees would have made good shots, great shots.
I must admit, I was initially turned off by their guerilla marketing on the internet when they first hit the market, whether it was company sponsored or not.
I’ve used Keen H2’s a number of times fishing streams and also have used them on hard bottom, saltwater flats.
Redfish are real bulldogs. I know they can really pull my kayak around. You need to catch one in a kayak or canoe to get the true feel of their power. Plus, they are cute as hell.
By the way, you were real lucky to get that sheepie on the fly.
Fenwick grip is more like a half wells grip but mounted with the small end to the reel seat, the oposite way as the more common reverse half wells or western grip.
The ritz grip is more like a full wells grip, but this narrower at the rear tapering up to the front without the pronounced hump in the middle like a full wells.
